Dr. Walaa Gafar serves as a Consultant in the Psychiatry department at Reem Hospital. She holds Arab board certification, a testament to her expertise and commitment. Her journey in psychiatry began at the Behavioral Science Institute in Al Ain Hospital back in 2013.
During her illustrious career, Dr. Gafar dedicated an impressive 11 years to esteemed hospitals in the UAE—from 2013 to 2024. Her responsibilities spanned both inpatient and outpatient care, ensuring comprehensive treatment for her patients. But her impact extended beyond clinical practice.

Dr. Walaa Gafar Osman actively contributed to medical education. As the chair of the competence committee and a core faculty member in the psychiatry residency program, she played a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals. Additionally, her position as an adjunct lecturer in the Department of Psychiatry at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, UAE University, further solidified her commitment to education.
