Dr. Nazia Salam is a Consultant Family Medicine and Head of Urgent Care at Reem Hospital. She completed her medical degree at Southampton Medical School in the United Kingdom and completed residency training in general medicine and surgery, emergency medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, and psychiatry. She has also completed her training in Family Medicine (MRCGP) and is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners in London.

Dr. Nazia has a special interest in mental health and provides counseling and CBT. She is also an instructor and examiner for continuing medical education in family medicine.

Prior to joining Reem Hospital, Dr. Nazia worked at well-known healthcare facilities in the UAE and abroad. Her areas of expertise include women’s health, men’s health, prenatal care and obstetrics, endocrine disorders, geriatrics and more.
