Biography

Dr. Marwan Dadoush is a Consultant Interventional Gastroenterologist at Reem Hospital. He is a German board-certified specialist in Gastroenterology and Hepatology from the University of Muenster, Germany. After several years of practice in Germany, he relocated to the UAE in 2022, where he joined an esteemed medical city, serving as a consultant and head of the gastroenterology department, as well as the director of the endoscopy unit.

Dr. Marwan Dadoush has more than 15 years of experience and specializes in therapeutic endoscopy, performing the entire spectrum of endoscopic procedures. This includes diagnostic and therapeutic gastroscopies, management of reflux diseases endoscopically, pH metry, manometry, diagnostic and therapeutic colonoscopies with the collection of colon samples, biopsies, polypectomy, endoscopic mucosal resections, as well as endoscopic submucosal dissection. He also performs endoscopic dilation and the insertion of metallic stents throughout the whole gastrointestinal system for strictures and stenosis, as well as overweight management and balloon insertion procedures.

Pancreatico-biliary diseases are among his expertise, performing procedures such as ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography), cholangioscopy with SpyGlass, Lithotripsy, electrohydraulic stone removal, and sampling of the biliary tract using highly specialized scopes for biliary intervention. Dr. Dadoush also has extensive experience in managing various liver diseases, such as liver failure and liver tumors, through advanced procedures, including chemoembolization (TACE), as well as managing complications related to liver cirrhosis, including TIPSS. He has a special interest in the diagnosis and management of inflammatory bowel diseases, as well as the endoscopic diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal malignancies (premalignant and malignant lesions of the gastrointestinal tract), esophageal cancers, colon polyps, and pancreatic and biliary diseases.

Dr. Dadoush is certified in performing highly complicated procedures, such as endoscopic full-thickness resection of large polyps and early-stage tumors, which prevents many patients from undergoing surgical interventions.
He is certified in Germany in endoscopic submucosal dissection and resection of both colonic and gastric polyps, procedures considered essential in treating colonic and gastric diseases.
