Dr. Mansour Shawky

“Dr. Shawky is a highly experienced Consultant Psychiatrist with over 20 years of expertise in general adult psychiatry and addiction psychiatry. He provides comprehensive assessment and evidence-based treatment for a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, panic disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and psychotic disorders.
Dr. Shawky is known for his holistic and patient-centered approach, integrating biological, psychological, social, and spiritual aspects into individualized treatment plans to support each patient’s recovery and well-being.
He is a Certified Master Trainer with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and a certified trainer with the International Certified Addiction Professionals. In addition, he is a Certified Aeromedical Psychiatry Specialist accredited by the General Civil Aviation Authority.
Dr. Shawky obtained his medical degree from Assiut University in Egypt, followed by a Master’s degree in Neuropsychiatry and a Doctorate degree in Psychiatry. He also served as an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Assiut University. His clinical training includes experience at Assiut University Hospitals and advanced training at the Integrated Substance Abuse Programs at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
Before joining the hospital, Dr. Shawky worked as a Consultant Psychiatrist at a leading medical center in Abu Dhabi. He has published 17 peer-reviewed scientific papers in international journals, contributing to advancements in psychiatry and addiction medicine.
He is a member of several international professional organizations, including the World Psychiatric Association, the International Society of Addiction Medicine, the International Society of Substance Use Professionals, and the Egyptian Psychiatric Association.”
