With over 40 years of experience in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Madhat A Theadan is a highly accomplished Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon at Reem Hospital. Renowned for his leadership in orthopedic departments across the region, he has served in senior clinical and administrative roles since 1994.
Dr. Madhat A Theadan specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of complex musculoskeletal conditions, trauma, joint reconstruction, and minimally invasive orthopedic procedures. He is a certified AO Fellow and has held key positions within international orthopedic associations, including AO Spine, AO Alumni Association, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS). He also serves as an AO Regional Chairperson and Faculty Member.
He holds the prestigious Fellowship of the Iraqi Commission for Medical Specializations (F.I.C.M.S.) in Orthopedics and earned his M.B.Ch.B. in Iraq. In recognition of his academic contributions, he was awarded the degree of Assistant Professor and has served as a trainer and supervisor for orthopedic residents under the Iraq Commission for Medical Specialization.
Dr. Madhat has led orthopedic services in both public and private sectors and has played an instrumental role in orthopedic surgical training and quality improvement initiatives.
