Biography
Mrs. Kim WARD is a Clinical psychologist, she completed her Professional Masters degree in Clinical Psychology at Saint Joseph University of Beirut in 2004 and remains a licensed practitioner psychologist in her country and recently in Abu Dhabi (Department of Health – DOH). Mrs. Kim is a member of the Lebanese Psychological Association (LPA) and a member of the Middle East Psychological Association (MEPA).
Mrs. Kim WARD has worked as clinical psychologist and psychotherapist with children, teenagers and adults in Lebanon for more than 18 years in different fields of psychology, primarily at her own clinic since 2007 and in schools and institutions; she also gained a long experience related to the academic and teaching field of psychology. In addition to her rich experience in treating a diversify range of psychological disorders, she expanded her expertise as a consultant since 2019 with several international and local Non-Profit Organizations (NGOs) in Lebanon.
She was trained throughout the years in Lebanon and abroad, mainly in France, to use psychometric testing and to practice a wide variety of evidence-based psychotherapeutic techniques including Play-therapy, mentalization-Based therapy for children along with the psychodynamic approach used with different age groups.
As well as her deep experience in treating Anxiety disorders, Depressive disorders, Behavioral disorders and ADHD, Mrs. Kim WARD provides couple therapy, grief and loss therapy, family therapy and parental guidance; she aims through her psychological intervention to support and help individuals and families enhance their psychological wellbeing and reduce their psychological distress which disrupt their everyday functioning.
