Dr. Sherif Ban is an Orthopedic Surgeon at Reem Hospital who specializes in hand and upper extremity surgery. His field of expertise includes but is not limited to managing sports injuries of the hand, wrist, and elbow, either traumatic or chronic, and performing arthroscopic surgery of the wrist and elbow joints to diagnose and treat joint problems.
Dr. Sherif has been practicing in his field for more than 19 years. He has a history of excellence performing thousands of surgeries and working with reputable healthcare facilities in the Middle East. He is also a staff member of the Cairo University Orthopedic Department since 2007 and a faculty at the AO Foundation, UAE Chapter, as well as a regular speaker at the Orthopedic Congress in the MENA Region.
Dr. Sherif’s areas of interest include ligament injuries of the wrist and hand, fractures, nonunions and malunions of the wrist as well as the hand, deformities of the upper extremity, Dupuytren’s disease and contracture, entrapment disorders of nerves and tendons as well as tendon injuries around the hand, wrist and elbow, carpal and elbow instabilities and chronic wrist and hand pain.
