Dr. Gianina Statache is a Specialist Rheumatology at Reem Hospital and specializes in early-stage arthritis screening and treatment, vasculitis ultrasound and MSK. Dr. Gianina Statache is a graduate of Carol Davila University in Romania and completed 2 fellowships in Rheumatology at the Academic Medical Centre in Amsterdam and at the University of Glasgow, Institute of Infection, Immunity, and Inflammation in the UK. She has more than 10 years of experience in prestigious medical institutions such as NHS hospitals in the UK and other prominent institutions in the UAE, where she gained extensive experience in clinical and laboratory research.
Dr. Gianina has extensive knowledge and expertise and has obtained a postgraduate diploma in musculoskeletal ultrasound as well as a certificate from EULAR for advanced application of MSKUS. She is also a member of the Abu Dhabi Taskforce, which issued the osteoporosis screening guideline for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Dr. Gianina enjoys expanding her expertise and knowledge in the areas of early-stage arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and osteoporosis, and is also interested in public health, teaching, and patient education.
